Needless to say, she is the “It” girl for any fashion event in India right now. So, when H&M opened its store in Hyderabad, India Tamanna was one of the major attractions at the event. It should have been her moment to stamp her mark on the fashion scene. Unfortunately, she picked the most unflattering micro-skirt with checkered suit. She ended up looking like someone who takes reservations at mid-range restaurant.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]If you think I have no critquing the fashion choice of a celebrity, you would be right. But I am not saying this as a fashion critic, but a baffled fan. There must have been at least twenty designers and stylists, and they all let her wear this. No one said, “Stop, you look atrocious in this.” Normally, I wouldn’t care too much about these celebrities, but this event is supposed to be a celebration of high fashion, with H&M sponsoring it to showcase its wares. This has to be perfect.
What’s rubbing salt in the wound is that almost everyone else, including budding starlets as well as out-of-work actresses showed up in pretty and elegant outfits. They looked stunning and blended into the theme of the evening with ease. They made Tamanna stick out like a sore thumb. The same Tamanna who captivated an entire nation with her performance in Bahubali, with seductive dance numbers and ferocious action scenes. Its hard to believe it was the same person. Even someone who just happens to be a society girl, looked way better than our poor girl.
One explanation that comes to mind is Tamanna pissed off some of the people with her recent successes and this was their way of exacting revenge. One other plausible explanation is that she lost a bet with someone and was forced to wear this. A third, equally likely scenario is someone playing a cruel practical joke on her and destroying her image once and for all.
In any case, Tamanna should be a lot more careful with her dressing choices, perhaps get rid of anyone in her group who advised wearing this one. Also, H&M should give away a million dollars worth of clothing to charity to atone for this abomination.
